In 2019, seventy delegates from fifteen nations came together at the University of Warwick to agree a set of binding global commitments to combat the climate crisis.

2.1°C TEMPERATURE RISE

With real-world policy committing our planet to nearly 4°C of warming, delegates at WCNF 2019 committed to a robust global programme of emissions reductions expected to limit global average temperature increase by 2100 to only 2.1°C

FAR-REACHING POLICY COMMITMENTS

Facing a complex set of related policy questions, delegates negotiated a comprehensive and wide-reaching set of global policies and recommendations, covering climate justice, deforestation, and common but differentiated responsibility.

$1.7 TRILLION GLOBAL CLIMATE FUND

Recognising the contentious nature of debates surrounding capital transfer and Loss and Damage, delegates agreed a replacement global climate fund with uniform required national contributions of 0.2% of GDP per annum
